Position Description
InQuinox, LLC. is a leading provider of world-class data protection solution and is headquartered in Austin, TX. InQuinox is currently searching for a Consulting Services Manager who will coordinate, develop and manage all InQuinox consulting engagements, relationships, and staff across North America.
The role of the Consulting Manager is to lead teams in the development and delivery of Data Protection solutions. You will work on teams which will develop strategies and opportunities across the Data Protection, Disaster Recovery, and DataCenter Migration solutions, while ensuring that engagement work products and deliverables are of the highest quality to ensure our clients’ satisfaction. You will manage technical, business, and personnel aspects of consulting engagements and assist in sales efforts for both existing clients and prospects.
The primary responsibilities of the Consulting Manager are to keep the company’s consultants as busy as possible, at customer sites whose needs most closely match those of the consultant. The primary skills needed are: personnel management, time management, and organizational skills. You will define the best practices for all consulting assets.
Responsibilities:
- Work with client and InQuinox’s teams to develop and deliver business and technical solutions to client satisfaction
- Manage our reseller relationships and service agreements to ensure that InQuinox is selected first for new engagements
- Develop and manage client relationships, project plans, and resources
- Match our consulting team’s skill sets and schedules with customer engagements
- Develop and deliver proposals to clients
- Implement techniques to improve engagement productivity, ensure deliverables are on-time and within budget, increase efficiency, resolve issues and achieve cost savings for InQuinox and our clients
- Develop/modify and deliver high-level Consulting presentations which explain the advantages of InQuinox’s consulting practice offerings
- Transfer knowledge, monitor individual performance, and provide feedback
- Monitor and direct others to act in accordance with company initiatives, processes and methodology
- Maintain interaction with the following corporate groups:
- Product Management and Sales by receiving field (customer) input on product features and feature prioritization requirements during product operational review meetings
- Customer Support on product-specific functionality requirements, opportunities and/or impediments
Requirements:
The candidate is expected to possess:
- 5-7 years relevant work experience with a minimum of one year recent consulting management expertise (“Big 5" consulting experience highly preferred)
- Experience in IT integration, definition, design, development and delivery (Symantec product focus is essential)
- Demonstrated understanding of account operations, budget and P&L management
- Demonstrated expertise in the successful delivery of Data Protection solution engineering
- Proven ability to manage teams
- Strong project management skills and depth in program management methodologies
- Proposal and sales development experience within a services environment preferred
- Proven ability to provide knowledge transfer, thought leadership around solutions and translate complex technical issues into compelling business benefits
- Strong customer facing skills, ability to influence and motivate clients and employees
- Strong customer communications skills, both written and oral
- Travel: at most, 25% travel is anticipated for this position
