Position Description
InQuinox, LLC. is a leading provider of world-class data protection solution and is headquartered in Austin, TX. InQuinox is currently searching for a recent college graduate or soon-to-be graduate for an Entry Level Software Engineer position or an Intern Software Engineering position. You will work as a member of our talented development team on new and existing software products in a positive, fast-paced environment.
The role of the Entry-Level Software Engineer is to develop quality software in accordance with customer requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with client and InQuinox’s teams to develop and deliver business and technical solutions to client satisfaction
- Work directly with a senior Engineer to implement new software features
- Write high quality, maintainable code
- Define and write support procedures and documentation for the Support Team
- Provide assistance to the Support Team to quickly resolve field issues
- Maintain interaction with the following corporate groups:
- Product Management and Sales by receiving field (customer) input on product features and feature prioritization requirements during product operational review meetings
- Customer Support on product-specific functionality requirements, opportunities and/or impediments
Requirements:
The candidate is expected to possess:
- BS in Computer Science or related field
- Strong design and implementation skills
- Strong writing and documentation skills
- Working knowledge of Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), C#, and .NET programming
- Understanding of Win32 API
- Background with C/C++ programming
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio
- Understanding of the issues involved with writing multi-threaded Windows code
- Understanding of the full product life cycle from product concept to product
