Position Description
InQuinox, LLC. is a leading provider of world-class data protection solution and is headquartered in Austin, TX. InQuinox is currently searching for an experienced Linux developer to design, develop and extend InQuinox's existing and new software products through software development efforts. As a senior engineer, you will work with our talented team in a positive fast paced environment.
The role of the Senior Linux Software Engineer is to develop quality software in accordance with customer requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with client and InQuinox’s teams to develop and deliver business and technical solutions to client satisfaction
- Design and implement new features for InQuinox’s software product line
- Write high quality, maintainable code
- Become the “Go-to” person for resolving complex issues
- Define and write support procedures and documentation for the Support Team
- Maintain interaction with the following corporate groups:
- Product Management and Sales by receiving field (customer) input on product features and feature prioritization requirements during product operational review meetings
- Customer Support on product-specific functionality requirements, opportunities and/or impediments
Requirements:
The candidate is expected to possess:
- BS in Computer Science, related field, or relevant work experience
- Minimum of 5 years Linux software development experience
- Work with client and InQuinox’s teams to develop and deliver business and technical solutions to client satisfaction
- Design and implement new features for InQuinox’s software product line
- Write high quality, maintainable code
- Become the “Go-to” person for resolving complex issues
- Define and write support procedures and documentation for the Support Team
